What is Sightline?
NETSCOUT Sightline is an anomaly-detection and network traffic-analysis system which scales to provide complete edge-to-edge visibility into all network traffic ingressing, egressing, and travesing the largest networks in the world. It makes use of enriched anomaly-detection to detect, classify, and traceback DDoS attacks, including minute-zero DDoS vectors never observed before, and orchestrates intelligent DDoS mitigation via NETSCOUT TMS and flowspec, as well as source- and destination-based blackholing.
